The system removes existing scale deposits and prevents further scale formation by driving a non-spontaneous REDOX reaction which precipitates CaCO3 and Mg (OH)2 and SiO2 at the cathode. The main causes of scaling, Ca2+, Mg2+ and SiO2 can then be dumped off. The system operates continuously so heat transfer efficiency is maintained at all times and the requirement for routine shut downs and chemical descaling is no longer required! Water blow-down quantities are also substantially reduced. With our anti-bacteria technology, we can achieve bacteria count significantly much lower than conventional treatment and our system does not induce bio-mutation. The system is a stand-alone piece of equipment which does not disrupt any operation of the water cooling system. It is designed to run 24/7 to maintain the cooling water quality. The sizing of our system will depend on the cooling capacity and makeup water quality. By the rule of thumb, our smallest system will be able to handle maximum 350 Ton of Refrigeration (RT) chiller system. With our system running, it will prevent scaling and bio-fouling in the chiller/condenser tubes, maintaining chiller at its peak efficiency and performance. Thus, costly chemical cleaning will no longer be needed.
